Ways to give to Timbercrest Senior Living

Giving Makes a Difference

As a faith-based not-for-profit organization, Timbercrest relies on financial donations to further its mission. Gifts from individuals, businesses, and individual Churches of the Brethren make possible the important work of Timbercrest in touching the lives of residents.

Charitable Giving

You can also help make a difference by including Timbercrest in your charitable giving in the following ways:

  • Unrestricted gifts are used at the discretion of the Board of Directors and are usually included in the Charitable Assistance Program
  • Charitable Assistance gifts help offset unreimbursed care for residents who have exhausted personal funds
  • Restricted gifts are those designated by the donor for a specific purpose
  • Memorials or Honorariums are gifts in remembrance or honor of a loved one
  • Endowment fund gifts are never spent; the monies contributed to this fund remain in it permanently, and income earned from the fund is used in Timbercrest’s Charitable Assistance Program

Planned Giving

Planned giving helps protect the financial integrity of Timbercrest now and into the future. Those who provide any planned gift become part of the Timbercrest Sycamore Society. The most common types of planned gifts:

  • Gift Annuities
  • Charitable Lead Trust
  • Charitable Remainder Trust
  • Insurance Policies
  • Retirement Plan Assets
  • Payable on Death (POD)
  • Life Estate Reserved
  • Real Estate
  • Bequests

For it is in giving that we receive.
